These truly are exciting times in the corn product business. We've aligned our corn products into four trait categories: Genuity® SmartStax®; our triple stacks: Genuity® VT Triple PRO™ and YieldGard VT Triple® : our double stack: Genuity® VT Double PRO™; and our single trait: Roundup Ready®. And the best news of all - of the 43 hybrids offered, 17 will be new! That's 40% new products! Choosing a new product means we've found a hybrid with higher yields for your farm. Whether its new genetics or established genetics in a new trait package, we are definitely "new and improved" for 2011-2012. Our goal is to offer superior options for rootworm areas as well as those acres in need of above ground pest control. Wensman's commitment to Roundup Ready 2 Yield® soybeans is evident in our 2011-2012 line-up. 25 of 26 products are R2's! And 11 of those are new! Again, Wensman is bringing you the very best genetics with R2 technology. The yield numbers from 2010 prove that R2 soybeans have a definite yield advantage. More beans per pod and more pods per plant means more yield profit for you.

Wensman is already the "R2 Leader in Minnesota, South Dakota and North Dakota" and we plan to accelerate that position going into 2012 with maturities for our entire market area and inventories to meet the demand for this higher yielding soybean technology.

I've been working with the corn breeding program at the Morris Research Station in Minnesota for the past eight years. As Wensman's Product Manager, I will use my experience in evaluating NET plots for quality and as an assistant breeder to make qualified product choices. My role at Wensman remains basically the same as my research responsibilities – finding higher yielding products. I am the direct link from research and testing to your farm fields.

Wensman will be continuing our philosophy of selecting higher yielding products during the 2011 growing year by evaluating hundreds of test plots. New corn and soybean products will be grown side-by-side with our existing products as we strive to find genetics superior to those offered today.
