   Wensman’s track record on germination is outstanding.  Over 80% of our seed the past five years has been laboratory tested at 98% germination or better. 
   Healthy vigorous seed gets out of the ground quickly and establishes a uniform stand.  And it is simple to equate more plants per acre to higher yields and greater profit.
   Consider the grower who plants at 30,000 seeds per acre.  The difference between 98% germination and 93% germination is substantial – 1,500 more plants per acre!  And with an estimated 6 bushels for every 1,000 plants, the better germinating corn will deliver 9 more bushels per acre!
