|
For 2010 spring planting, Wensman Seed continues its
tradition as a technology leader with the introduction of
seven new Genuity™ Roundup Ready 2 Yield™ (GENRR2Y) soybeans.
GENRR2Y represents an entirely new generation of soybean
productivity. GENRR2Y soybeans are being brought to the
market with yield enhancements that are significantly better
than original Roundup Ready® soybeans.
Wensman has and will continue to be at the forefront of
seed technology. With a proven ability to successfully market
the latest innovations, Wensman has earned a unique role in
new product testing. Our extensive plot program offers an
unbiased platform for real world growing conditions. We are
proud to play a role in this research effort. And we are glad
to have an opportunity to see and study new technologies and
genetics before they are launched.
As with all of the innovations offered by Wensman, we
adhere to a simple principle: Is it better for the grower?
When we are convinced that a product brings more value to
every acre, we begin an ambitious program to transition to the
new seed.
We are preparing for the next big step in corn. Genuity™
SmartStax™ is an eight-gene package that is currently being
reviewed for approval. Again, Wensman intends to bring a
number of Genuity™ SmartStax™ products to our growers when
regulatory approvals are received.
