Wensman’s position as a “technology leader” to their customers began in 1997 with the advent of the brand name Wensman. The mission statement “Seed Technology For Your Success” certainly explained the sales culture the company would emphasize in its product lineup.
   In 1997 that technology position was visionary at the time.  In years since; as the seed industry grew to accept Bt corn borer, Roundup Ready and Rootworm stacked traits; other seed companies began to follow technology and slowly changed their products to conform to meet their customers needs.
